Do you know that people now days do not really use the old fashioned way of confronting each other about their breakups???? They prefer to end their relationship through technologies such as sms, e-mails, twitter, even website…isn’t it ridiculous…….because you ended without an explanation from both sides…. It is like one way communication…. For example like Jimmy Wales, a founder of Wikipedia ended his relationship with his girlfriend via entry website……Another example; Britney Spears dumped her hubby (Kevin Ferdeline) with a sms……But through technology also we can track our boyfriend or girlfriend’s whether she or he is cheating on us…for example, we can track by checking their phones……sometimes they forget to erase the message…and we can trace back….how wonderful is that just like Prince Harry’s GF found out that Prince Harry is cheating on her by tracing his phone and got to know that he is messaging with another girl…..Not only that Twitter is a new thing in our society today where people tell their story through twitter for example; where they at now?????? Who are they going out with?????and a lot more……..Even, Paula Abdul shared her story and tell in the twitter that she is quitting American Idol……this even before the news goes to the media…..Technology either it bring us closer or even driving us apart……Now days, technology used for everything from dumping your lovers to finding lovers…even firing your staff…..Like I said earlier….they do not like confrontation.

Social software has link many people to many people by all this social network and social media such as face book, twitter, you- tube, I-blog, Flickr and a lot more. Social software means software that support, obtain and extend towards people social behavior. This consists of message board, sharing pictures, blogs, social networking, mailing and others. Today’s popular social networks includes Face book, You tube, Flickr and Twitter. Do you know that Face book only has over 10 million users in United Kingdom and what about other parts of the world????? How many face book users actually there are??? But what I know there 300 million active users out there from all parts of world and now people mostly communicate through this social networks.. .Thus, all this social networks can be used as to promote events & services, spreading news and also share photos. Flickr is consider the most popular website for sharing photos which this website allows users to upload pictures and share with the rest of the communities. Hence, they can also give comments and tagging pictures. You tube is the most popular website for video sharing because users can share their videos with other views and also give comments. You tube has a lot of information from across the world and media also discover a lot of new talents from You tube…Well, it is a good way to advertise yourself or product………..Plus it is free for everyone…..and it can be share with other social networks sites…..

Through advance technology and modernity, mobile actually can separate us from others…or in other words detach us from society..Why???? In my previous blog, I have mentioned the features that we have in today’s mobile….from there, you can see that people can do a lot of things by just using phone…For example, playing games, chatting, online or even listen to music….So a lot of people now days, when they are waiting or sitting in the bus…….they just playing with their phone….and they just paying attention to the phone without notice what is happening in the environment…This mean, they become so connected to their phone and detach from the society…Do you think is a good think that we actually detach from the society???? Sometimes, when we so attach to our phone and when we waiting for someone to reply your messages or calls…our mind is somewhere else.means to our phone…Is this consider we are detach from the society???? by not paying attention and our mind is focus to somewhere else?????

But by go online through your phone can also help you to connect with your friends….You do not need to go far to see them or even leave the house….you can be close to them.

Yesterday mobile phone only uses to call or sent messages but with today’s technology, mobile phone have a lot of features consist of games, internet, global positioning system (GPS), camera, video recording, radio and a lot more. Yesterday, if we want to take pictures, we must use camera. If we want to take video, we must use cam coder. I we want to play games, we use game boy or computer games. If we want to online, we use computers or note book. If we want to look for places, we use GPS…… We never knew that mobile phone technology can go this far? By using just one small gadget which is mobile phone, you can actually do everything with it from making calls to checking e-mails….How wonderful is that??? ? The latest technology is 3G where we can do video calling by just using phone….So you will feel near to your love ones by just make video calling to them…

The latest mobile phone that is also called as the ‘In Thing’ is I Phone and Blackberry. But as for my opinion, Blackberry is more suitable for working people that need to reply e-mails instantly to their client…As for the I Phone is for everyone….I Phone has everything; I mean they have a lot of features that can help you to fill up your time…What makes it different than other phones is by using I Phone, you can friend finder your family or friends….and you can editing your video on the spot and also share with your friends by sending the video to them. Besides that, you can track your data devices…For example, if you lost your phone…you can always go online and corrupt the software by yourself…and if anyone wants to use your phone they can not track your data because u have deleted everything through online…What I can say, I Phone have adapt to our lifestyle today. The development of radio to telegraph to telephony has emerged the new idea of telephone in the middle of 19th century. The prediction of Alexander Graham Bell in the future that people really need telephone to communicate to the rest of the world which is already become as part of our everyday life. A two way communication between human has portray a better result in communicating which is known as direct communication. Hence, that is why the evolution from telephone has invented to cell phone…The incredible technology advances has allow us to make calls on the move which this is known as Mobile phone or Cell Phone. There are other few devices that also use to communicate with other people like fax machine, videophone, and pages. In 1979, the first mobile phone was invented and that time it was not common in the public. It was important for people who are working since they need to pass information and messages. But now in this web 2.0, it is so common in today’s public because everyone uses mobile phone even the small kids also known own a mobile phone. Not only that, some of them even have 2-3 phones that they carry with them which one for work, personal, and for fun….Do you know that how mobile is so important in our daily life????? I, myself if I already drive half way to college or anywhere else….I rather make a u-turn to go home and get my mobile phone…..I will feel wrong or something missing in my life………….That’s how important in our daily life today………In this modern era, mobile phone has everything from SMS to MMS to wireless internet and to GPS….In my next blog I will share you more on the today’s mobile phone and the functions. Who invented the first revolutionary new form of communication known as the telephone??? Not than other Alexander Graham Bell that start brings an impact to people every day’s by introducing the telephone…. How ever, it first started with the ‘tele’ known as long distance as for the machine to communicate with each other through long distance. The first phone known as ABC telegraphs to send messages even though it was slow but mainly used for offices. Then, there is Gower-Bell Telephone, followed by privileged call that was mainly being used for important messages because it was extremely expensive during that time. As for the public use, they use telegrams and token to communicate with each other because it is cheaper even though it is not high tech enough.

But in the early of 19th century, as when the technology started to develop…..the first automatic telephone system was invented and known as telephone exchange….These system normally you can see when you watch the old movie like during the WORLD WAR where the officers communicate with other district through the telephone exchange….Why it is called as ‘telephone exchange’ because it is manual exchanges where the operator would answers the other caller and pass it to another caller by plugging the connection cord.

Radio also has helped to bring the life of telephone and not forgotten the other parts of the electrical signal that transmit the information on air.

Imagine our life right now without telephone……How are we suppose to communicate with the rest of the world….Why do we communicate? To share our ideas, information, thoughts and views with other people which communication is part of our life…. Do you know that people have communicated with each other since the pre-historic time? Those days, they communicate through animals by their movements and also through shells (as a tool of communication). They only communicate with each other when there are important messages to be spread, news of battles, or even warnings. Besides that, they also communicate through chalk or clay as a tool to produce the first painting because by this they also can communicate with each other on how they feel. Hence, by playing music instrument like drum also express their feeling and convey messages especially when there is an event. This is how they communicate with each other by expressing themselves through music…..What so different right now???? We still use music and paintings or even writing to express on how we feel towards others or nature…But what makes it different we right now uses technologies to speak…….

The picture above portrays people spreading the words through words and languages……..But how if we keep on continuing communicate just like that without telephone or e-mail????? Imagine how are we suppose to communicate to the rest of the world by just spreading the words…….It must takes months or years……..right?????…..it is a bit difficult for us now to living the life just relying on spreading the world……And how do you think people those days can live without it????? That’s why they do not have friends or relatives in every parts of the world. I will continue in my next blog on the communication development….

Search engine allows users to explore, personalize and create the search engines which it has been created by others. However, other users can create their own website and also indicate their journal or article for other users to see. The users only have to type down what they want to search and it will come out the result that the users may choose which they want. These also lead the users to narrow down their search to the sites that they think can help them in their findings also the sites which they can trust. As you all know there are only two common search engines that we use it often such as Yahoo! and Google. These two search engines offers specialty like images, videos, news, blog and many more for the users to search news and information. Hence the site also will indicate major news in their front page of the search engine. How wonderful is that? I, myself whenever I want to seek for information….I will go through first the front page, and they have news headlines of the day……….and just before I start to search for information…I will read the news headlines…….It is very effective to advertise the news on the front page………….As for my opinion, Google is better than Yahoo! in findings more local information as it also has include on Google Map. This will make your life easier because you can look for places and track it trough the Google Map. Why I like Google because it has more local news and I can search local places by Google Map.

Social networking sites such as Friendster, My Space and Face book have allows users to build a network of friends, identify mutual friends and to keep track on their latest existing friends. However, they can communicate easier with their family and friends through chatting because you can tag your friends pictures, updated your friends profile, pictures, events, classified advertisement, or even status update. It is a new advance way to communicate with other people without seeing them and you yet you feel close. Not only that, besides making new friends or keep in touch backed with their old friends…..social networking sites also helps the users to get more customers within the network. I, myself do online shopping at face book which I will post my latest collection on my page and they can freely ask me anything through chatting or posting. How wonderful is that!……..And it is actually work for me because it is easy to get customer from this social networking sites…you just have to add the other users to become your friends….and the beauty of face book, whenever you post new pictures at your page…automatically page will be tag at your friends page…..and it is very good because when they go online, my pictures or comments will appear at their page… Honestly, some of them now, from only customers become friends to me….But, there are also weaknesses in this social networking sites, for example; if you put too much details about yourself – other people can read and know about you ( well is very dangerous when especially you indicate your address or phone number because they can track you)….besides that, too many pictures about you and your family and friends (love ones), they also can track your family or where you always hang out or how you look like and how your house look like….is very dangerous………But anyway, from my opinion….everything also has strength and weaknesses but we as a human should know our limit and be more careful….
