Awards
The Australian Learning and Teaching Council offers a wide range of national awards for teaching and learning:
- 27 Awards for Teaching Excellence worth $25,000 each drawn from teaching staff under eight categories;
- 1 Prime Minister’s University Teacher of the Year Award worth $50,000 drawn from the winners of the Teaching Excellence Awards;
- 14 Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning worth $25,000 each recognising support programs and services that make an outstanding contribution to the quality of student learning;
- Occasional Career Achievement Award to acknowledge an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to teaching and learning that is recognised throughout the higher education sector; and
- 210 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning worth $10,000 each for individuals or teams that make a significant contribution to the quality of student learning.
