Go to YouTube.

Select a video (this is a Murdoch Uni Library video). Use the HTML tab to copy and paste the video embed code into your blog post.

Copy and paste the caption and link the YouTube URL for this video.

= Facebook for photos - check for images with creative commons licences. See also Google Images creative commons licenced photos.

Put creative commons licence, attribution, date and author (upload to Flickr).

How to do it:

Click on Search

Click on advanced search and search for a topic. Very important: Tick the box for “only search within Creative Commons -licenced content”, otherwise you will be violating copyright (a very bad thing!).

Search.

Select a picture. Left click on image to open.  Right click on image and copy image location.

Go to Edit Post.  Select Add media > from URL > paste.

Caption - copy title and author (person who took the photo) and add “downloaded from Flickr and date”

Link to the Flickr URL.
