I’m trying to set up a blog for someone else through Google blogs but it seems as though anyone can access the dashboard. Why is this happening? The person I created it for also gets to the dashboard without logging in. What step have I missed?
Try checking in the top right hand side of the page to see whether you are logged into your gmail account. This logs you into all of your google accounts, including the blogging account.
If you did not log out of gmail/google before creating the blog, then it will be created under your login.
To test it:
1) Open another browser, go to the blog’s URL (web address) and try to log in
2) Go to gmail and log yourself out, then check the blog’s URL.
