Checking it out
July 1, 2009 by Helena Kadmos
I’m trying to check my blog every day, but it stills feels like I’m talking to myself. I guess a blog can only be vibrant if it focusses on a particular issue or theme and then attracts people with similar interests. Which means that I understand the significance of the title more now, than when I created the blog. I guess it should attract people browsing to those themes or issues of concern.
If I decided to continue keeping up a blog I would consider for what purpose, and how I oculd more accurately communicate those purpose to others.

I really know what you mean about a blog echo ….. It is really quite in my corner of cyberspace - is it even called that !!
I still really haven’t worked out what I am doing with my blog - or even where it is for that matter.
I am a sporadic diary keeper - and currently equate my blog with that - except not sure who is reading it and in fact why anyone would.
I am hoping for an epiphany - is there a blog term for that?

Well, I think that it is a fine looking blog and I’m very impressed that you are so in-the-know. That’s coming from a mid-40 year old women, however. For people Francis’ age, it’s like - ‘yeh, everyone knows how to blog!’. Will it be twitter next?
I replied to this comment but not sure if it went through now - still learning!! Basically yeah - have a look at mine - went for dual theme of gardening and blogging this course stuff (although didn’t really name it appropriately)! Good to start with this forum and then figure out what you would really have to blog about and base it around that. Mine will hopefully be listed soon - it is Clare’s Soapbox - actually picked the same theme as you but found out how to personalise the header photo. Happy blogging
