What’s next?

I’m not quite sure what to do with this blog now that I’ve opened it. It feels a bit like I’m speaking to myself – only I’m slowing it down by having to type. It doesn’t even equate with speaking into the void, just to little old me, here at my computer.

…but you leave footprints and people can engage with what you have written…
It raises the question though, doesn’t it … have I anyhting worth saying? We seem to be, as a society, uttering more and more words, endlessly. It’s important, isn’t it, to try and make sure they are worth both the uttering and the hearing.
Yes – far too many words …*but* many of the voices rising to the top – like those of people in Iran during the recent election – are those that could not have been heard without advances in online social media.
In our microcosmos of blogs for the 14 Things, then your words are important, as they are (hopefully) helping others to learn and feel a little less isolated as they do so.
