Well I’ve also looked at Chrome and ??? I just don’t know - so… (I’m currently an Arts student but have a Science degree!) I’m going to run my own little experiment and use each of these for a week and see what I think - I’ll post my thoughts as I go along.
Week 1 - Chrome
Week 2 - Firefox
Week 3 - Safari
I’ve been using Windows Explorer so won’t worry about that unless I find I need to go back to it and if so will then see if I can tweak it to suit me a bit better.

Well, having a try of Firefox, have previously tried Safari and didn’t seem to have any advantage over WE. Do like the add-on to be able to use WE within Firefox and it does appear to be quicker. Like the Facebook toolbar but must admit I haven’t played with other tool bars on WE. As my main email account is with google I think I will try Chrome as well. The beauty of this course is to encourage me to play and figure out what would be good/better than what I am currently using.

So my very exciting news is that the header you now see is my very own vegie garden - or a part of it really! I will now try to also include in this post the whole photo from which that image was taken! Isn’t it pretty??!

An overview image of my vegie patch

I have very excitedly discovered how to put posts into categories so I thought I’d tell you all about my vegie garden. It is looking very lush at the moment. I have lots of lettuces - cos and red oakleaf mainly, snow peas, spring onions, broccoli, potato’s, capsicum, coriander, not to mention lots of cute flowers. When I learn more I will post (if that’s the right word??) some photo’s for you all to see… YAY!

Well I have finally succumbed to the pressure to technologically conform. Having used Facebook for a while and frustrated by elements of it I thought that blogs may be the way to go… Actually I think probably that it’s only when all the elements of online technology are used together that it will be most satisfying. So here I go on this journey of discovery…
