Thanks! Firefox is frustrating me at the moment but I know that it is a matter of giving it a good go so that at the least I know what it’s advantages are… have played with skins and have downloaded a few plug ins - will see how i go!

Good luck with your transition. Great that you are being so open minded and prepared to experiment.

With Firefox, if you have time, do check out some of the ways that you can customise how it looks and what it does … it tends to be its main strength….

Yes part of putting photo’s of my garden on both blogs means that I actually have to continue putting effort into it - a good plan so I don’t spend all my time blogging etc.!! Keep checking this blog for posts on my net adventures - and check out my new blog - YAY - it’s the one I’ve felt compelled to do… all of a sudden I have a forum to publish my message-type ideas!

I have a slight addiction to Fairyland on Facebook, I’ve got a garden called “No Green Thumb Here!” I HAVE tried the ‘real’ gardening, but have only succeeded in killing anything I plant!… Or pulling up a plant thinking it’s a weed, rofl. I DO love your new blogs my gorgeous friend, and I’m inspired enough that I may soon set up a scrapbooking one, and hopefully get PAID to do it! More to follow… xx

Hi Clare. Your blog is now on the Participant’s blogs list. Thanks for being patient. I’m really interested in your experiments with browswers.

I use Chrome quite a bit. I really enjoyed the way they accompanied the release of it with a comic - http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/ . I actually read much further into the technical specs than I would have otherwise.

It’s meant to be much more lightweight and a bit faster. I don’t notice it so much on my machine. I have had a couple of problems with using it to edit a particular wiki that I often edit, which is why I don’t use it so much.

I really love the way that it sets up the starting page of your most recently visited sites.

Hi Clare, Can I quote you on your last sentence ?

You are right though, we can tell you about stuff we think is cool, but we don’t know how everyone works. It is all so different, so the real work you do isn’t in finding out about the tools, but in how you fit them into what you do.
