For Presenters
First a big thank you for generously sharing your time and knowledge.
You are working in teams of two to present the workshops and write the corresponding Things for each week. It is up to you who does which bit. The Timetable outlines who is doing what when.
You will be:
1. Writing the information about your Things on this year’s 23 Things blog. One post per Thing please.
If you want to, you can use the material from last year’s Murdoch University 23 Things blog. You will almost certainly need to update it. Remember to check out the individual post that gave background material for each week, as well as the post about the Thing.
2. Designing the hands-on exercise for participants to complete
3. Clearly explaining the expected blog post for that week.
4. Facilitating two workshops during the week you present. These are in 1.015 and go from 1:30pm - 3:30pm on Tuesday and Friday. The first hour is for you to explain the Thing, give people some hands-on experience and explain how it is relevant to libraries or education.
5. The second hour of the workshop is for people to continue working through the 23 Things at their own pace, or ask you questions about your Things.
Please keep your blog posts saved but unpublished and have them ready two weeks before they go live. Please email Kathryn when they are ready to go.
