YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload, view and share video clips.

According to a previous version of the YouTube entry in Wikipedia, in July 2006, the company revealed that more than 100 million videos were being watched every day, and 2.5 billion videos were watched in June 2006. 50,000 videos were being added per day in May 2006, and this increased to 65,000 by July. In January 2008 alone, nearly 79 million users had made over 3 billion video views.

Lisa and Kathryn show you how to embed a video or slideshare into your blog.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOU CAN TICK OFF THING 20

1. Go to YouTube or Slideshare website:

http://au.youtube.com/

http://www.slideshare.net/

2. Search for clip or slide show

3. In the clip information on the right hand side of the viewing screen, find the embedding code

4. Highlight code (Ctrl A) and copy (Ctrl C)

5. Go to your blog and create a new post.

6. If using Blogger, go to Edit HTML Tab and paste (Ctrl V) code into body of work

7. You have now embedded your first video.

Now you can go and blog about it.
